Tulips!

Pete had a meeting in town yesterday and I tagged along.  I really enjoy walking around the town area.  The old, well maintained buildings and narrow cobblestoned roads make the whole place feel so quaint.  The bus stop we usually alight from is at a place called Gustav Adolf Torg (Square).

I love walking through it cos the trees and flowers planted there are so pretty.  Yesterday, the huge tree in the middle of the square caught my attention because of its beautiful leaves.  The leaves are a gorgeous shade of maroon, almost purplish.  Pete thinks it could be an oak tree.  Whatever it is, it's beautiful.  It's a pity my camera couldn't capture its true beauty.

What accentuates its beauty is the flower bed around it.  This time, it's surrounded by many pretty flowers and the ones that I really love are the tulips.  Gorgeous!  Look at the colour of the petals.  Brilliant red.  I love them!  I wish I could have them in my garden.
