Sun's out!

After Saturday's cold, gloomy weather, the sun that came out yesterday was such a welcome.  The whole day was bright and sunny.  I really love the sun.  It's really bright here and these days, the sun doesn't set before 9pm.  But when the wind blows, which is quite often, it can get very cold.

We were indoors for most of the morning.  After doing the laundry and having lunch, we decided to go for a walk.  I am trying to get used to the colder temperature here and so I had on my usual short sleeved t-shirt but I had a jacket on just in case.

We took our usual walk towards our garden to check on our plants and then we continued to follow the bike path.  It was a beautiful day and judging by the number of other people who were out walking and running and playing soccer, we were not the only ones who were thinking like that.
