Today, Pete brought me to a hobby supply store called Panduro Hobby to get some papers to make invitation cards for our June event. The moment I stepped into the store, I gasped in amazement. Scrapbooking supplies!! Papers, stamps, stickers, chipboard stuff, inks, and other embellishments. And the great thing is that this store is an outlet so everything is cheaper!
I brought just maybe 10% of my scrapbooking stash since I had too many stuff to bring over. I was so upset when I had to leave behind the stacks and stacks of papers and other treasures that I've accumulated over the years, especially those that I bought when they were on sale.
Furthermore, Pete bought me a drawer system to put all my scrapbooking stuff. It's a pity I don't have much with me. So, imagine my joy when I was in the store. I could buy more to replace my missing stuff!
Pete saw me eyeing shelves after shelves of scrapbooking materials. He came over to me with a basket. I was really tempted to buy stickers, papers, stamps and all, especially since the items were mostly not found back home. At the end of the spree, as usual, I would empty the basket and look through the items. I would then discard those that I don't really need or can't afford. In the end, I bought a paper pack, stickers, stamps, a snowflake punch and some other tools I didn't bring over.
There were still plenty of things I would so love to have. But I guess I don't really need to buy more for now. I have to keep telling myself this or else I might find just find myself at the store again.
